PREMIUM RECOVERY
You may be paying for the wrong job.
Workers' comp premiums rest on class codes, payroll and modifiers. When one is wrong, it's rarely obvious — and it renews every year until someone proves otherwise.
The audit says one thing. The payroll may say another.
WHAT YOU'RE GIVEN
- A final premium figure
- A class-code schedule you didn't write
- An experience modifier you can't see inside
- A deadline to accept it
WHAT VEURDE CHECKS
- Whether the duties match the codes applied
- Whether overtime and owner pay were treated correctly
- Whether subcontractor payroll belonged in yours
- Whether the modifier matches the actual loss runs
How it works
No integration. You send documents, we send findings.
- 01
Send what you have
Policy, endorsements, the final audit, a payroll summary and loss runs. That's enough to start — nothing has to be connected.
- 02
We reconcile it
Reported payroll is matched against actual payroll, by class code, state and period, and every input is tested against the policy terms.
- 03
You get a finding
Each discrepancy with its estimated dollar impact and the records that support it — enough for your broker or carrier to engage with.
What actually gets checked
Documented job duties compared against the class codes the carrier applied, including payroll that may sit in a higher-rated code than the work justifies.
Overtime excess, officer and owner payroll caps, exemptions and multi-state allocation — each one a common and quiet source of overstatement.
Certificates of insurance checked against the payroll that was included in yours. Uninsured subs belong there. Insured ones often don't.
The experience modifier recalculated against reported losses, and open claims flagged where reserves look stale or overstated.
I'm looking for a partner who knows comp.
I can build this. What I don't have is premium-audit or brokerage experience. If you've worked this from the employer, broker or carrier side, I'd like twenty minutes of your honest reaction.
Who's building this.

Tyler Bowen
Founder and cloud engineer
Cloud engineer with operations experience on the other side of the desk. Building the systems he wished the teams doing this work already had.
Findings, not opinions
A challenge only works with records behind it. The output is the evidence, not the suspicion.
Cloud infrastructure discipline
Access controls, logging and operational rigor appropriate to payroll and claims data.
Looking for a founding partner
Someone with workers' comp, premium-audit, brokerage or risk experience to shape the methodology and lead customers.
